I live near the England-Wales border with my wife and four children where I am a music teacher.

I am Director of Music at a local school where I deliver the music-curriculum to children between the ages of 4 and 18.

My principal educational interest beyond music lies in curriculum management. I write school timetables for fun and tackle crosswords, sudokus and kakuros and other logic problems in my spare time.

I enjoy reading, particularly the works of C.S. Lewis (and not just the Narnia Chronicles).

I have been 2^nd Lieutenant serving in the Merseyside Army Cadet Force.

I gained my BA (Honours) in Latin and Music at Birmingham University in 1986.

I gained my PGCE (Secondary School Music) at University College, Cardiff in 1987. Since then, I have managed Music departments and Creative Arts faculties in schools in Mid-Wales, Lancashire and Liverpool and Shropshire.
